About Me

This music has been featured on 95.7 the hog's "The Scene" radio show. Jimmy Mason was born in Tuscon, Arizona. His family moved to Oklahoma when he was just a baby. He was interested in music at an eary age. His father,brother,aunt,uncle, and grandfather played guitar. At the age of 10 Jimmy took up trombone in the school band and guitar lessons from his older brother. It wasn't until he moved to Florida at age 12 that he started taking music seriously. He has written hundreds of songs, including the ones on this page. He is capable of playing many different instruments.(guitar,piano,drums,trombone,baritone,mandolin and voice) In high school, he formed his first band called "HER ALIBI." Jimmy was the leader of the Acoustic Rock Band "STONE." He also played Bass Guitar in the metal band "ALCHEMY." When he was 25 A car accident prevented him from playing music for a couple of years. Through extremely hard work and dedication he has found his way back to the stage.He has played Bass Guitar for the high school musical's "Fame" and "Children of Eden". Also, he has taken the time to play for a day care center in Palm Coast, and judged the "Battle of the Bands" for FLagler Palm Coast High School in 2006 and 2007. He is currently playing Bass Guitar for the Palm Coast cover band "Static". Right now he is in the studio working on a 4 song album to be featured on ITUNES. The songs include "On the Highway","Victory Song", "The Exception', and "I'm not a criminal" These are songs that he wrote during the days of the Acoustic Band "STONE". With a better music education and understanding of the recording industry, Jimmy believes the sky's the limit. Not only for him, but for those he teaches as well!He is a private music instructor teaching any one from 6 to 60 or even older than that! He is now pursuing a degree in recording and performing arts at Valencia Community College in Winter Park, Florida. Jimmy hopes to be a full time musician in the future either solo or with a group or both. He is also interested in recording and producing music someday soon.
