Well, I am originally from upstate, New York... went to school in Berkekely, CA, and traveled and worked for the past seven years in random places from Bombay to a winery in the fingerlakes. About a year ago I came to New York City after shooting a travel-music-documentary video project with one of my best friends from India. We are currently in the post-production phase. Music has long been a pretty big part of my life, songwriting, listening to it, playing in bands, and general experimentation. Most recently I've gotten into documentary and video, and came to NYC for graduate studies in this field. I consider myself both liberal and creative, but also strive to keep my feet on the ground. I have been an athlete for most of my life, was a springboard diver through college, and am now getting more into yoga. In general, I'm trying to walk that beautiful line between playfulness and discipline, which allows for great art, career, and relationships.
Storytelling is a medium through which we can integrate our experiences and make sense of our lives. Through the sharing of our narratives we are able to better understand each other, and greater appreciate our strengths and diversity.
My company, Bent Marble Productions , specializes in "Clackumentaries", narrative works that are both deep and playful, taking advantage of the various multi-media elements available through digital art production.
