Young Joe"MR.LIGHTS DOWN LOW"

From the early age of 14, Young Joe always had a passion for the pen to paper concept. Born the 2nd youngest of four in South Florida, of both Black and Latino parents, he began writing as a way to express himself, telling his story of hardship through written words. Despite the negative surroundings and the life of the streets that was so easily within his grasp, he realized early on that the "street life" would never lead him to where he strived to be. Turning to music as a way out, his original hopes of becoming a rapper changed as he began focusing his talents to singing and songwriting. Beginning with school solo's, pep rally performances as well as local talent shows, Young Joe then discovered his true calling "R&B singing". Most would say that from his early days of elementary school, the artist has always been quite the "Ladies Man, so the attention he gained from his female fan base was a plus for him as well. Forgetting his childhood dreams of becoming the NBA's next superstar, he once again chose to persue music full time. After hooking up with several local artist and networking at some of the city's bigger music conferences he has managed to meet several of the right people who have the ability to take his career to a new level. Composing songs that evoke emotion and draw people in, he has gained a steady fan base which will hopefully stick around throughout the rest of his career. There will be more to learn about the young male artist as time ticks but for now he is being referred to as the future of R&b.
