...After the best (and worst) 3 years of my life, I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Animation & Illustration from Southampton Institute in 2004. I won the award for 'Best Film' with my graduation animation, 'Arachnotelephonophobia', which has since been screened at several film festivals around the country (a finalist in a few of them) as well as on TV a few times...
...After an 18 month stint in various supermarkets, I'm now living in Kings Cross, London, and working in Soho as a 3D Visual Effects Artist for a post-production company called Absolute Post. I've worked on a number of music videos, websites and commercials that have been on TV. My proudest career moments have been working on the following: An award winning viral ad campaign for Levi's jeans, which won 'Best Post Production' at this years BTA Craft Awards (see video below); TWO award winning websites for Mercedes Benz (see links below); a non-profit Public Awareness campaign advert for the German version of NSPCC (see horrifying video below); a beautiful 'fake-time-lapse' advert for Hardy's wine (see link below); as well as the 3D promo for the Editor's single 'All Sparks' which made it to number 2 in the NME MTV2 video chart...
...Apart from that there's not much to know...except that I'm very, very ginger...oh and my real name is Matt Burn...consider this profile to be a work in progress, I'm quite lazy...
