Welcome to the official myspace for Tower Youth located in Seminole, TX!
The purpose of Tower Youth is not to be a youth group, but to be an Apostolic Training and Ministry Center for youth and young adults in the West Texas region. Our goal is to love and minister to all who come through our doors, and those that don't, and to train and equip people to live the great commission that Jesus gave us in Mark 16:14-18. That's where Jesus said that to preach the gospel in all the world, and that these signs will follow those who believe, heal the sick and cast out the demons and that we'd speak in new tongues. Being a follower of Jesus is about freely giving what we have been freely given from Him (Matthew 10:8). So if you are looking for more than just words and you want to SEE the One true living God, a God of power and love, the God we see in the Bible, and you want to have fun doing so, then this is the place to be!
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 says:
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him", BUT God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches ALL things, even the DEEP things of God.
God desires for you to have a true understanding of who He is, how much He loves you and the awesome plans He has for you.
In 2 Kings 2 , after Elijah was taken up into heaven, his apprentice, Elisha made a profound statement, he said "Where is the God of Elijah". And after that, right before his eyes, God parted the waters to the river that he was standing at. Jeremiah 33:3 tells us that when we call out to God, he shows us great and mighty things that we do not know. God is a God of power and Spirit, and when we call out to Him from the depths of our hearts, and we ask "God where are You?", God reveals Himself to us and draws into His arms.
