Bonnaroo 2009: Here is my playlist featuring the initial lineupThe Poetry Thoughts and Theories of Jon Fuller
All my life I have tried to view the world with an open mind. There are an infinite number of perspectives you can take when looking at a single situation, event, person, ect. It should be our goal to strive to see through as many perspectives when and before we act. Even after the fact it is still useful to go back and try to see things another way. Often times we put restrictions and boundaries on our minds which in time lead to a narrow and false view in which we see the world."Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds." -Bob MarleyI express myself with poetry when trying to capture a feeling or a moment. I also have much non-poetic writings in which I will share at some point reguarding my theory on how an eleven dimensional universe can be related to our own universe. I suppose I should remind you that this is a manuscript of my previously written poetry and I will occasionally comment on a piece or start rambling about something off the subject... basically what I'm trying to say is that this isn't going to be revised or edited after I finish writing. Words will be misspelled and punctuation changing at a whim. I figured this would keep in style of my own poetry book. I hope you can read this book cover to cover and be held captive the entire time but...In poetry that is not often the case. However, If you want to follow me through my life and poetic development that may be best achieved by reading one page at a time and coming back as you see fit. Or if you wish you can skip to any section you choose. This is how I deal with my problems. We must all find our own safe outlet for emotions and other daily struggles. I have many poems, thoughts, and theories that I would like to share with this world before I leave it. I know I can't last forever but the changes and impressions I make on this earth will. This book is a record of my thoughts and experiences I have had throughout my life. Take them or leave them for what they are worth to you but for me it's my life, my dreams, and upon my death may be the only thing you will ever know about me. If you do not know me personally then this is one way in which you may come to know me. However, the perspective you gain will be as individual as yourself.I will write down poems new and old and share with you theories and thoughts that you may not even begin to comprehend but that is ok because I do not always understand all that I read or write myself.
The beginning and end have no meaning if there is no connection or journey between the two. We must not be bothered by other people's journeys. We must guide ourself first before we can lead the way for others. So the next time someone offends you remember that you can control yourself but not the other person. Do not allow yourself to hate. Look for their reasons and find an understanding. I often believe that any person born into a situation and living through a course of events, actions, and reactions will behave the exact same way as another in that circumstance. In other words, if you want to understand a person you must first place yourself in their position the best you can. If you still can't understand look back further and further. There is a spark of God in all of us and each person should be treated as if that spark is the same spark that is within yourself. However, we live in a world of corruption and the spark of God is sometimes lost in the fires of hell on earth. I feel that a large part of heaven and hell is our experiences on earth. I have gone through many pains and prides and most of it is my own damn fault. In the end we will find the answers we never could before so I don't want to worry about finding all the answers but I don't want to never ask them either. We should all strive to let our spark shine so bright that others may see it and be inspired by it as well. We will find our answers when we stop worrying where to look. Look first in yourself and then look outward and with an open mind you can discover and become anything lyou like. I believe in free-will and I believe in fate. That may sound absurd but lots of things don't make sense. So free-will with fate can be right as well. It doesn't matter if I am right or wrong. What does matter is that I believe what I believe and it works for me. Now, it's up to ou to find out what works for you.I will now share with you parts of my life and dreams. It has always been my dream to share my thoughts and beliefs with the world and make a change for the better.I hope you enjoy this book and your experiences on this earth.3-4-3One two three
Lets talk about reality
Etching and sketching
My thoughts are far fetching
There are only a few in the world
Who know about the dimensions curled
But I may be the only one
Who has begun to unravel
The theory that will dazzle and amaze
Creating a new phase of discovery and admiration
That will last a long duration
Before I die and go on my final vacation
I want to spill my fill on the world and
Tell them why the dimensions are curled
This may be the only way to make my presence stay
And make a difference day by day
