fiLi green (real name Dave Ocon) spent his childhood in Waipahu, Hawaii around the cultures and music that influenced him to learn to play the guitar. He also developed a knack for singing and learned to fire up a very strong and soulful falsetto voice. In 1999, he made a permanent move to Washington state. There he met Nate Daep (aka Nate Vibez ) and got together to sing at talent shows. Later under the guidance of DJ XTC he would form the now defunct vocal quartet SoulDefy along with Nate Vibez, his cousin Ryan Domingo, and Joe Manalo. During his time with SoulDefy, he learned his ways around the studio and started producing for SoulDefy.
After two years trying the music business as an artist he decided to leave SoulDefy to focus on producing music. In 2004, he got together with fellow producers Conrado Casallo (aka BoogerBeats ) and EJ Franco (aka Educate of the B&E Game ) to form the Beat Market , the premiere producers from BeatDown Records.
Today as he enters in more beat battles with other producers from the Seattle area, his music is becoming widely known among other Seattle artists looking for an affordable producer. His music has been heard through the performances and recordings of SoulDefy, Nate Vibez, and the B&E Game, and is currently in the process of producing for Azia and Heiress .
