I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

They have a sense of humor in the South. A sign on the left side of the highway going to my parents...A sign immediately after, on the right side of the highway, going to my parents...Family, friends, silliness and laughter, lakes, water skiing, Mojitos and vodka martinis, puppies, college basketball, Chicago Cubs, mint chocolate chip ice cream, cardio kickboxing, ball caps on bad hair days, Kentucky Wildcats, sushi, romantic comedies, flare jeans, high heels, dangly earrings, live bands at small clubs. I open up the package of Peeps a week before I eat them so they're perfectly stale. I count the number of stairs I walk up or down. I eat each piece of Candy Corn in three bites...white, orange, yellow. Repetitive noises drive me crazy. It's McDonalds...don't tell me you have to stand there reading the menu before you order. All adults should know the difference between "your" and "you're." And if you're not driving at least 70 MPH, get out of the fast lane.

My Interests

Health and fitness, sports in general, (I think I drive my friends crazy during March Madness!), LOVE water skiing and boating, music, anything on or near the water, reading, learning new things...and jumping on a trampoline with my best friend! Beautiful sunset! Favorite place to be...a lake. Picturesque lunch!

I'd like to meet:

Any of my ancestors, Abe Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, Michael Jordan, the person who invented the stiletto heel...and Matthew McConaughey.

Music:

Very diverse...rock, country, classical, reggae, jazz, pop, some hip/hop, all 80s music. Great, little known band: Cowboy Mouth!

Movies:

Romatic comedies, thrillers, spy movies, side splitting comedies. The Jason Bourne movies, A Christmas Story, Hoosiers, Chicago, Somewhere In Time, The Princess Bride...all movies are just great entertainment and a brief escape from reality...not that I need any help in that arena.

Television:

Monk, Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, Lost, The Office, History Channel, Men in Trees, Brothers and Sisters, What About Brian, Nip/Tuck, college hoops, SportsCenter, MSNBC.

Books:

Almost any fiction...along the same lines as movies. I also enjoy reading non-fiction...whether it be historical, self-improvement (as in learning new ways to better my life, not as in fixing neurotic behaviors...why would I want to fix those?), or business and financial planning.

Heroes:

Anyone who makes the world a better place...whether it be with a cure for a disease, or a simple, beautiful smile. My grandparents and great grandparents (I was fortunate enough to know them)...because they went through things in life we could never imagine...and came out as positive and loving as could be. And James Naismith.

My Blog

I thank my parents everyday for my intelligence and common sense!

How do these people survive? (Unknown author)   1.  ; Recently, when I went to McDonald's I saw on the menu that you could have an order of 6, 9 or 12 Chicken McNuggets. I ...
