Figured I might as well change my "About Me" since I haven't in awhile.
Lets see, my name is Ashley (duh!) and I'm about ready to turn 22. I'm a boring person. Well, check that. I'm an entertaining person to 50 year olds since it seems we have the same interests (such as bingo, daily jigsaw, cats). If you enjoy drinking quite passionately, heavy drug usage, things that common sense tells you not to do, partying, gossip, living through the pain of other people, animal porn (had to throw that in there), I'm probably not the person for you. If you like drawing/anything art related, video games (I'm quite mature, but I'm still a kid at heart), rock music, CATS! or animals in general, visiting musuems, boring stuff, then we might just get along. Maybe. I'm also apparently an introvert no matter how hard I try to convince myself that I have extrovert tendencies. I do love having close friends, I just don't do so hot in large groups, and alone/recoop time is a must.
I'm a freelance artist, or perhaps pseudo freelance artist. I take on multiple paying art projects within my knowledge base, while in the mean time trying to finish my commission art website, which anyone who knows me can tell you I'll probably never actually finish. I just like saying I will because it makes me look productive. ;) I love everything art related, whether sketching, painting, sculpting, making jewelry (I have all the stuff for it, I just can't seem to get myself to do it), photography etc. I have absolutely no idea what I want to do permanent career wise, I'm just winging it right now, meddling with different stuff and see where it takes me. IF I had my way though, I would be an Illustrator and/or character developer for video games but again, we'll see where life takes me.
I'm happily married (going on our 2 year anniversary, and almost 6 years together total). My husband is the main person that keeps my sanity in tact and is my bestest friend. How we've managed to not annoy the piss out of eachother is beyond me. But I am ever grateful for it because he is a very sweet man and spoils me to no end, even though sometimes I don't admit it. We also have have 3 lovely (and very unique) cats. No more though, I'm catted out. Too many cats.
Uh, lets see what else. As stated above, I love rock music especially progressive rock and industrial/nu metal (I'm stuck in the 90's basically). In the same turn, I could listen to Enya all day, or if I feel like dorking it out, Final Fantasy music all day (I have this huge bonus soundtrack collection). Tool is, and probably will forever be my favorite band. I also seem to have this weird need to listen to Smashing Pumpkins lately enough though I use to hate them and make fun of people who liked them. But things change, yes?
