About Me

I'm an avid traveler, I also like to spend time hanging out with my friends, travel, watch/attend sporting events, travel, drink some good beer/cocktails, travel, go ride on the lakefront (how awesome is Chicago in the summer time?), read and did I mention I like to travel? Yes, I am still single, which isn't a bad thing, I don't think. I'm not exactly picky, but I do know what I want and apparently I haven't met him yet. I also don't know if I'm willing to settle down just yet..there's SO much I'd still like to do! I'm SLOWLY getting to the stage in my life where I'd like to settle down, so we'll see what happens...stay tuned for that one, but don't rush me!I'm from San Antonio, Texas (Go Spurs!!) and have been living in Chicago, IL since 1998 and I LOVE IT!! I live right downtown, which is always a good time and I have met some amazing friends!

I don't go see movies at the theater very much...I usually catch them on cable or on DVD....sometimes. Just saw "Walk The Line" and thought it was great!!! I love watching movies, just don't have a lot of time to do it...well, not as much time as I'd like.

Television:

Love watching LOST, Family Guy, Mile High on the BBC, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, ESPN, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Brothers and Sisters.

Books:

I read about a book a week. Last books read: You Don't Need Meat by Peter Cox, Please Don't Eat the Animals by Jennifer Horsman and Jaime Flowers, Breaking Back by James Blake....you gotta read it!!! Heroes:

MY MOM AND DAD!!! Mom is fighting Breast Cancer for the 2nd time like a true champion......keep fighting mom!!!! I love you!!! Dad had a major stroke in March 2007. He is partially paralyzed and cannot speak....yet, but he's working SO hard to get better! Keep it up dad!!! I love you!!!
