About Me

Background image: Brooklyn Bridge crossing to Lower Manhattan at sunset, NYC
I just moved here from out west. I’ve been on Long Island (Farmingdale) as of the end of December, relocated for my job. This is only my third time being anywhere near the east coast.
Why? Because sometimes you get into a place in your life, and you just need something new. Its not that the old is bad, it's just the same thing. Over and over.
I guess I'm adventurous at heart. I love doing new things, finding a side road, and taking it. learning new things. meeting new people. what sucks is I'm bad with remembering peoples names. I'm 26, and have been balancing work and school for a long time. I like to get up when I want to get up, fix things that are broken, and dress for an occasion. I'm a sucker for sweets. The most valuable possession I have now is life. Second to that is my laptop with a high speed internet connection. I watch the news to keep up on things, but my favorite channels are Discovery, and TLC. Otherwise TV doesn't do it for me. There aren't many things that scare me. I'm very levelheaded and can do things well under pressure or stress. I don't get stressed that often, and only those that know me know when I do.
Update .... I'm loving life on LI, I just got a place in the quaint area of South Farmingdale. I'm getting over everything being so expensive, and getting into the habit of cutting someone off in traffic at least daily. I have learned how to navigate the streets of Manhattan...in my car. I've done something new just about every weekend since I've been here, and will keep finding places to go and things to see.As a side note, I am type-1 diabetic. I’ve had diabetes for close to 16 years, most of which with a MiniMed. I keep up with the most of the latest technologies, and have many resources available. If you have questions, about this, or anything, feel free to drop me a line.
