About Me
Sal Bonaventura also known throughout the music business as “Sal B†started back in 1984 as a mobile and club Disc Jockey. One night while spinning in NYC “Sal B†was approached by Eddie Rivera. A short time after this he was made part of The RPBC, which was a large record pool in New York. He then began to play all the major clubs in NY..s 5 boroughs. He was then asked to go down and appear as an extra in the movie Krush Groove. On the movie set of Krush Groove was where he first met his future partner Sal Abbatiello.
"Krush Groove" is a 1985 Warner Bros. film, written by Ralph Farquhar and directed by Michael Schultz (who also produced the movie, along with Doug McHenry). This film is based on the early days of Def Jam Recordings and up-and-coming record producer Russell Simmons (re-named Russell Walker in the film) who was portrayed by Blair Underwood (in his feature film debut). Russell Simmons was the film's co-producer and story consultant; as well as having a cameo role in the film as a club owner listed as "Crocket")
The year was 1987 and “Sal B†started working at the already famous Fever Enterprises. The formula of Sal Abbatiello and Sal Bonaventura was made and they started taking over Management and Booking of some of the hottest acts on the scene. In the years from 1987 to 1993 FEVER MANAGEMENT had 20 very succesful Dance/pop artists on the their roster.Artists included The Cover Girls,Coro,Lil Suzy,Alisha,Nayobe,Lisette Melendez,Cynthia,Two without Hats,April,Voyce,Tony Moran(Latin Rascals),Sandee and Yvonne.
Also at this time club promotions came into play and clubs like: Studio 54,1018,The Tunnel, and Emerald City were filled to the breaking point with the hard work, and the connection with thousands of club goers.Palladium and Roseland Ballroom special events became legendary.
In 1993 Sal "B" was asked by Tim Barry to be President of Tribeca Music Enterprises.Sal "B" stood as President untill 1995 when he bought Tim Barry out, and stood alone for the first time. It was then that he created SAL B MUSIC WORLDWIDE and MONSTER PROMOTIONS.

Not that kind sold over 5 million albums worldwide . Anastacia became a household name in Europe, Asia, and Australia. However, Anastacia was much more successful abroad than in her homeland of the United States, where Not That Kind sold only just under 200,000 copies. Anastacia remains virtually unknown in the United States.Anastacia’s follow-up to Not That Kind was released in January of 2002. It was titled “Freak of Natureâ€. Freak of Nature was a also a mega success which sold over 5 million copies worldwide. It produced the number 1 hits “Paid My duesâ€, which remained number 1 in Germany for 14 weeks, “One Day in Your Lifeâ€, the title track ,“Freak of Natureâ€, “Why’d You Lie to Meâ€, and “You’ll Never be Aloneâ€. It has been certified multi-platinum in over 25 countries worldwide. Anastacia says she called the album “Freak of Nature†because all of her favorite artists have always been “freaksâ€, or non-conformists . Also, Anastacia has an extremely soulful voice which is rare to find in a white woman. Many first-time listeners are shocked when they find out the voice they hear is coming from Anastacia, who is 5’ 2â€, Blonde haired, and a white American woman in her late twenties.
