Once again, I kick off yet another message in this "About Me" void, trying to fill it with something meaningful. My usual rants still are what they are...no change there. So I'll briefly stop on that before I go into what I actually wanna say in this portion: if the pics with me and the gun offend, scare, puzzle, perplex, or whatever other odd feeling may enter your heart or mind when you see it, do me and you a favor and hit the "X" in the top righthand corner. I give a fuck less about your comments or what you think of it. It ain't for you to like. Now, that that's out the way, I wanted to speak on the "N" word. Of course, the dreaded word, "nigger". What's funny is last time I spoke on it, I almost damaged my career behind it. Now some years later, my favorite artist brings it to the forefront through song. The irony....on top of that, we're very close to seeing this nation's first ever Black president, and you're an idiot or blind if you think he doesn't have a chance. On that same note, I do notice that white people are beginning to become uneasy now, and some are even droppin' "nigger" more frequently. I can't help but laugh at it now. Listening to comedians like Richard Pryor and Paul Mooney and hearing the word laced throughout their routine is priceless. Why? What makes jokes funny? The fact that there's usually truth behind it most of the time. So when I hear people like Al Sharpton (garbage) try to ban the word....lemme put it this way. "We" can't ban nothin' white people started. "They" did what they had to do to get rid of the Black Panthers, but what about the KKK? "They" always try or successfully stop what we do only for them to have an equal or greater evil counterpart. They started callin' us "niggers" all those years ago, only for the present day, we use it as a term of "love". To those white folks that do still say it to get me or anyone spun up.....HA HA HA!!! I'm laughin' at you! You're defeated. You lose. Once upon a time, being called a "nigger" by someone non-black (mainly white, Puerto Ricans excluded), you were subject to an asswhooping. Now it's played out like Cross Colors....jheri curls, hi top fades, bellbottoms, you get the idea. It doesn't hold any weight, at least not with me anymore. Don't take my opinion as the voice of all black people....you might go to the wrong person or be in the wrong place and get yaself shot, stabbed or fucked up behind it. But with me, at least, I'm not AS hostile as I once was. Will I stop or cut back my usage of the word? Nope. Funny how when people (rappers) start to make money off a word that's so wretched, it's a problem. Or even better than that, you got shitbirds like Michael Richards, Dog the Bounty Hunter and Don Imus sayin' it (or something along the lines of it...Don Imus just calls Rutgers women's basketball team "nappy headed hoes"; I'm sure "nigger" wasn't far behind) and then turn around and blame our music. Bitch please. Maybe your white brethren buy that shit, but I don't. They've thought that way for a minute and it just finally came out. Oops, YOU fucked up. Hmmmmm...maybe they can stop or ban the word, but it wasn't a problem when muthafucks were callin' us that like it was cool. Now the same muthafuckas along with sometimin' ass Al Sharpton wanna get rid of the word? LOL Muthafucka how?! So fuck no I won't stop usin' it. I was gunnin' (no pun intended) for Nas to successfully name his new album "Nigger" as a perpetual spit-in-the-face of "the man", but the politics are what they are. As far as Al Sharpton, I'll go in on him another time. I have choice words about him. In the meantime, what I WILL do is leave you all with the new video/track from Nas, "Be A Nigger Too".
