About Me

This is me, with Kat. It's common knowledge that Kat rocks :)
Cleared the fog that was veiled around me and
Blurred my sight
Suddenly I'm no longer aching to
Honour my plights
Rising moon and my skin is peeling
Past undone
Suddenly I can't justify what
I had become

Boo. I'm Mark. I work at Sainsbury's where I do back door, warehouse and stock control stuff. I enjoy playing (more than) the odd videogame, listening to music, going to Metro's, going to my local, playing pool, Marvel Comics, writing and drawing. I'm working on (or at least trying to) various projects, none of which are ever likely to even come close to being finished or fully realised.
I hate large crowds, stupidly big and/or wooden fairground rides, summer, people who will insist that they're correct even though both parties blatantly know that they're not, and a ton of other things that would only depress you lol. Black nail varnish ftw!

As you've probably guessed, I play quite a lot of videogames; I'm addicted to my Xbox 360 and play the odd Nintendo DS game too. Feel free to add me on Xbox Live; however, if I'm not completely engrossed in the game's multiplayer after completing the single player or career mode or whatever, then it gets traded in. When I'm not sat in front of a TV with a controller in my hands, I drink, wear geeky t-shirts, spend time with the Katalicious one and chat to all manner of people .., as well as checking out favourite websites, such as Homestar Runner , Ctrl+Alt+Del , Weebl & Bob , Pure Pwnage , Gamespot , IGN and The Best Page in the Universe .

I'd like to meet:

I don't know. There are more Channel 5 viewers out there than nice people.

Music:

Fave bands are Trivium, Opeth, Bad Religion, Everclear and System of a Down... plus I listen to a fair few other bands/artists too, like KoRn, Killswitch Engage, Rob Dougan, They Might Be Giants, Flogging Molly, Tenacious D, Millencolin, Weird Al Yankovic and a lot of other stuff. Also listen to the odd movie soundtrack and quite a few videogame soundtracks are also awesome; the Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future soundtracks are quite possibly the best EVER, simply because the music is undeniably so goddamn awful.

Movies:

Being a gargantuan comic geek, I'm into anything based on any Marvel, DC, Dark Horse or any other comics: 300, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Batman Begins, Blade, Blade II, Blade Trinity, Catwoman, Constantine, Daredevil, Elektra, Fantastic 4 (2005), Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, Hellboy, Hulk, Judge Dredd, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Man Thing, The Mask, Son of the Mask, Men In Black, Men In Black II, Mystery Men, The Punisher (2004), Sin City, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, Superman: The Movie, Superman II, Superman III, Superman IV: The Quest For Peace, Superman Returns, V For Vendetta, Virus, X-Men, X2: X-Men United and X3: The Last Stand.
Other movies I harbour a great liking for include Alferd Packer: The Musical, BASEketball, Clerks, Clerks II, Dodgeball, Dogma, Finding Nemo, Hot Fuzz, Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, The Incredibles, Loser, Mallrats, The Matrix, The Matrix: Reloaded, The Matrix: Revolutions, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Monsters Inc., Orgazmo, Severance, Shaolin Soccer, Shaun of the Dead, Shrek, Shrek 2, Silent Hill, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Team America: World Police, Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Van Helsing and Zoolander.

Television:

American Dad, Azumanga Daioh, Batman (90's animated series), Batman of the Future, The Batman (current series), Family Guy, Father Ted, Fawlty Towers, Futurama, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Have I Got News For You?, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Little Britain, MEGAS XLR, Men Behaving Badly, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Office, Only Fools & Horses, The Simpsons, South Park, Teen Titans, Transformers (the original 80's series, not the tons of crappy remakes that have been churned out over the years), Spider-Man (90's animated series), Spider-Man (the ill-fated late-night MTV animated series), X-Men (90's animated series), X-Men Evolution.
Bestest channels are Kerrang!, Scuzz, UK Gold, Toonami and Sky One.

A Case of Need, The Andromeda Strain, The Terminal Man, The Great Train Robbery, Eaters of the Dead, Congo, Sphere, Jurassic Park, Rising Sun, Disclosure, The Lost World, Airframe, Timeline, Prey and State of Fear.

I've only ever met three famous people so far. The first one I met was Connagh-Joseph "Cock Jockey" de Mooi. He's the most arrogant, pig-headed, so-far-up-his-own-arse-he-can-headbutt-his-own-tonsils, tithead cunt wanker I've ever had the misfortune to meet. If he gets hit by a bus, I'll make it my sole purpose in life to get the driver a knighthood. Seriously. I've also met WWE wrestlers Chris Masters and Victoria, who were far more pleasent. And I got their autographs ^_^

Turok: a quick review

The demo got my hopes up so much. But Turok's biggest problem is that the demo symbolises exactly what you'll be doing throughout the entire game. There's no variety, plus there are a plethora of othe...

Half-Life 2: Episode Three and beyond. My wishlist (with possible spoilers)

Games are expensive. The average console games nowadays costs around £40 and when you think about it, it is quite ludicrous. The only thing more ludicrous would be paying £40 for a sandwich. The absol...
