About Me

I always hate these, like you can sum up your life in a few sentences under pressure. I am a 30 soon to be 31 year old man in the prime of my life =). I am at that time in my life where you begin saying things like "If I only knew then what I knew now". My whole life I thought I wanted to be a computer geek and always detested salesmen, and what do I end up being great at? I spent 5 years at a desk programming and testing half the time, and the other half traveling the world. Sound glamorous? Not so much. I've spent the last 5 years in retail and have loved it and hated it at different times, but found that I like being around people much more than a desk and a mouse all day. I take bad stores and make them great, just call me Mr. Fixit. I love comics and when it comes to that I will never grow up, I have full color comic tattoos all over my arms and plan to add more to the canvas someday.

Baseball, Comics, Movies, Books, Family, Traveling, working out, console gaming (but a recent WOW addict) and a bit of a workaholic

Music:

My taste is pretty broad but I always come back to Classic Rock and it's sad because those stations are starting to play the stuff from when I was a kid. My employees and I love to create an upbeat store environment around music, we had a movie moment when two of us were singing along to a song on the radio while a couple of customers were dancing and singling while waiting in line =)

Movies:

Way to many to list, my collection alone is several hundred, A few would be Shawshank Redemption, Superman The Movie, Life as a House, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Batman Begins, Indiana Jones, and now Iron Man!

Television:

Smallville, 24, Lost, Greys Anatomy, CSI: NY and Las Vegas, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, X-Files, Angel, Reaper, Bones, Supernatural

Books:

Reading to me is like an addiction, it calms me and takes me to places and times I can only reach in my mind. I have read pretty much everything by Stephen King, Tom Clancy, Jeffery Deaver, and many more. I also enjoy classics such as Homer, Mary Shelly, H.G. Wells and the list goes on and on. If I don't have a book or two near me or available at all times I get a little antsy =)
