Looney Tones

Looney Tones is a rock band characterized by the lack of vocals, as its an instrumental project. Mostly associated with alternative and experimental sounds, the band tries to escape musical standards and to be restrained into a type of music, for the sole purpose its to make good music. The year 2004 was just beginning when three friends with the same musical irreverence and will to make something different decided to get together, and so began, as an inconsequential musical brainstorm, what today is Looney Tones. Initially formed by Pedro Sobast/guitar , Miguel Ramos/drums , and Carlos Nike/bass Looney Tones had to endure the drop out of one of its members, soon surpassed by the arrival of Srgio, the actual bass player of the band. The first concert occurred in May 2004 in a local bar of Vale de Cambra, hometown of the band. Others followed, namely in rock festivals and contests. The Looney Tones project sets as goals continue to make music it enjoys, diffuse its first demo and by that promoting its sonority, and, last, play as most gigs possible, to the most varied audience possible.
