Influences: The Social commentary of Ras T Asheber is inflenced by the times we live in and the drama we experience daily. The music - the majority of which is composed by Jamaican-born singer/songwriter Ras T - has its roots in traditional roots rock reggae, yet include various crossover sounds ranging from R & B, funk rock and hip-hop, with a strong lyrical statement.
Sounds Like: This is truly an updated approach to reggae music (Roots Rock if U please), showcasing a fresh amalgam of tunes and players of various backgrounds to concoct this pulsating sound. The live repertoire is crisp and stimulating. Visually and musically Ras T and his Posse is really a treat - they really rock ’n’ groove together and so do all who experience them.
