Matt Whitmire I was born and raised in rural Arizona, and always said I would move to LA and become a star haha, well after 18 years of getting the "ok your crazy" look, I decided to give it my all and make the move to LA. The move was made possible with the help of my friend Deborah Gibson, who gave me a scholarship to attend her Camp Electric Youth during the summer of 2008. During camp I met alot of great people including my now manager Diane Gibson, new lifetime friends, and many other industry professionals. Shortly after camp came to an end I booked my first gig on the upcoming movie "Stay Cool" starring Hilary Duff, Chevy Chase, and Wynona Rider just to name a few. I have met some of the coolest people out here and I am loving every second despite traffic conditions haha, although I definatly miss my family back home.
