Gibraltor Sault

About Me

Gibraltor Sault is the studio name I record under. It is mostly myself, and a sprinkling of guest musicians because every once in a while the studio and mixing desk become a lonely place. I used to be a radio air personality. I think I had my 15 minutes of fame a while back.

THE 13th INVENTION Gibraltor Sault (c)2008 GS5/BMI Music
Johann Sebastian Bach composed dozens of 2 & 3-part inventions as a preparation for his larger works. This is his 13th...with a few variations. Thanks to Tim Yost for all the guitar work, and Anika Holthaus who recited these parts in Latin, Old English. and English languages.

LIFE IN A NORTHERN TOWN by The Dream Academy, (c)1984Gilbert Gabriel/Nick Lard-Clowes EMI Blackwood Music Inc. Dance remix by Gibraltor Sault & Sunchyme (c)2005 GS5 music
I rarely remix songs anymore but I thought the challenge of taking a popular mellow 80s hit and trying to make it sound good at a club would be a fun project. I hope I havent ruined it. Special thanks to The Dream Academy & Sunchyme for making this possible. ____________________________________________________________ _____

I master songs and turn them into CDs. That means taking a final stereo mixdown from a mixdown engineer, finalizing each song, and giving the whole CD a cohesive sound before it is sent to the record plant. It means critical listening in a controled environment, sequencing the songs, creating the spaces between the songs, improving the depth and EQ if necessary and if requested making the CD as loud as other commercial CDs. Mastering is a critical final step before actual CD production.I'm happy to master one of your tracks at no cost to give you a sense of what I can do for your music. My goal is to make sure the mixes you've worked hard to perfect receive the best possible presentation for your listeners, and I won't accept payment unless you are completely satisfied with my work. For submission absolutely no MP3's, lossy formats, or truncated/dithered 16 bit files. 24 bit/44.1kHz data files or higher please.

I refuse to sonicly dumb down your record

My promise is to never master your track to the lowest common denominator.... unless of course that's what you want.  Every time I listen to vinyl records or SACD, I'm reminded how horrible...
