About Me

The Alternative to real world...
I'm currently spending most of my time on the accessible side of the alternative. Melody is my obsession and my most reliable escape route.
I like to think I'm deep and complex but I spend most of my time gazing at pretty guys whilst using annoying, shallow Americanisms such as 'like' and 'totally'. I don't look cool and at times I'm painfully shy. I like to think I am approachable though, so approach away. I've been told I am creative but I can't write to save my life. I have too many boundaries, but I'm trying my best to break them down, one by one.
Effeminate (and often blonde) men steal my heart. It is a sad truth, but one I am living with quite contently.
I have a habit of distancing myself from reality, through songs, literature or subconscious daydreaming. Only trouble with escaping reality is, it makes life even harder when you have to return.
I live for the ultimate rush of euphoria... moments in music which make the spirit soar above the drudging mediocrity of every day life and evoke the most incredible emotions I previously didn't even realise existed.
Keep It Simple
Now, before this little biog gets too personal, I'll move on to the more basic, generic 'biopic' stuff.
My name is Bethany. I'm 16 years old, and I live in a sleepy little town called Shepperton, which seems to mostly be inhabited by crazy old women and their crazy dogs. Apparently there are a few shady characters here too, but I haven't come across many.
I'm currently attending Strode's College, which is, by the way, a hell of a lot better than school.
My main hobbies are writing, reading, listening to obscure indie/folk music and angelic voices, obsessing, going to small, euphoric gigs, meeting my favourite musicians, eating Ben & Jerry’s Phish Food Ice Cream, relaxing with friends, shopping and wasting time on the internet.
/life story.
