About Me

Sonus - Electro: Drum & Bass: Progressive on iTunes Download new Sonus club, dance music from iTunes. Underground Electro Drum and Bass by for a brand new sound at last. Produced by Will JonklerSonus was started in July 2006 and bring a new edge to the club/dance genre, William Jonkler focus's on house/drum and bass. I started my music career by playing the recorder and viola in my youth, this wasn't fulfilling and i started playing self taught drums and piano, becoming more interested in keyboards i gave drums up at the age of five, after a very short period of time. I was always fascinated in the technology side of the music industry and upon attending prep school i was taught by a man called Mr Emni who had a recording studio on campus. This spurred me on to follow in his footsteps , before that from the age of 7 i started constructing a recording studio but after experiencing a more "industry standard" one, i yearned to have real recording technology. My main genre was always blues and it was only until 2005 when i started going to clubs such as pasha and Fabric London, that i started playing drums again and experimenting with other genre's. Finally i had my heart set on the club scene. I then attended college to study music technology at alevel and my music teacher Simon burch gave me the skills to record both midi and audio to some degree as well as fueling my appetite for more music tech, at college i started writing dance music (my first being dance like wild) with blues undertones using packages such as pro tools HD, cubase 4, logic and AbletonI am now a resident DJ at Fabric London's student night "UNION", i have worked as senior events manager at Imperial university, sound engineer at the Peel and have started working as a sound engineer at the Half Moon in Putney (great venue!)To get the Sonus podcast just visit the itunes music store and search for Sonus or alternativly go to sonus.mypodcast.comThanks William x
