_________________________________________________________I am the formal soundguy for Rockstarz from Dec 2007 to late April 2008. Teaming up with Bob Hewitt we launched 808 studios. Offering LIVE sound and recording to some of the best local, regional and National bands playing the SW Florida area. Most notably: Mighty Joe Plumb Kris Rhoe of the Ataris Gargamel The Cato Letters Invisible Image All or Nuthing (currently recording at 808) Pushmower Secondhead Hellpass Wedgepiece and about 357 others....too many to count. Although we enjoyed running LIVE sound for so many talented bands, we endured a ton of issues that made the experience a tad unbearable from time to time. From gangs, Hard moshing, the loss of several thousands of dollars in equipment, over booking of bands, to being extremely under paid for our services. We will continue to support Rockstarz in building a place for our areas artists but felt it best to move towards our true aspirations....recording. My wonderful daughter Marisa and my beautiful baby boy Izac. I work as a graphics artist during the day so that I can write, record and rehearse with my friends and band. I have been a bass player for 22 years in bands Null and Void, Idiot Savant, Farewell and Project 808. I also play guitar and sing. My true passion is music. Most who know me would probably say I am a little strange and sometimes difficult to get along with. They are probably right. I think of myself as spiritual, politcal and sometimes hysterical. I'm pretty honest and usually rational....as long as you see it my way. Other than that, I commit a large portion of my life and time to music in two projects. Farewell & Project 808. I am also a graphic artist. Most of which are computer generated but I dabble in almost any medium. I hope to connect with people whom have a true desire to listen to new ideas and share honest discussions about a number of things. Below is a BIO about my band Farewell........FAREWELL was spawned in the swampy outskirts of Fort Myers Florida. Derived in a small private studio by Bob Hewitt, Mark Bunton and Randy Bunton. All former members of SW Florida's progressive NU Rock bands Idiot Savant(2001-2004) and Null and Void (1989 to 2001). FAREWELL is an all original acoustic rock band with a diverse pallet of material and sound. Laced with soft jazz like melodies and suicidal undertones. Powerfully Floyd like with hints of Alice in Chains. Emotionally and Spiritually deep, Farewell hopes to tap into a deeper vein with their audience and fans. Seemingly short-lived, Farewell is made up of some of SW Florida's most talented artists. Performing, Recording and writing together since 1989. Farewell has already produced 2 independent CDs that have both been received with rave revues. Farewell owns and operates 808 studios. This self managed band have already set roots and will continue to produce its own material and products for a long time to come. Farewell's main objective is to write, perform and record it's own material under it's own terms staying true to what Farewell is intended to sound like. Members of Farewell have collaborated with a number of musicians as well. From the UK's own Susan Willis of Soo P and the Outsider, Brazil's Acoustic veteran Romulo to Florida's own Steven William's band Atrophy the Sun as well as solo material. As artists we hope simply to inspire thought, feeling and depth in everyone whom listens. Farewell is currently working on their next CD and rehearsing for LIVE appearances soon to be announced.
