Darrell Farley, Otherwise known as The Street Disciple, knew that he was to work in Radio the day he set foot onto the Campus of Liberty University. In the fall of his Freshman year, he served in the Promotions Department, as well as an On-Air Talent at WWMC 90.9 FM The Light. He was a regular on "The Midday Mix", "The Big Afternoon Show", and was often heard on "The Rhythm and Praise Party" hosted by National Religious Broadcaster's Award Winning Host, DJ PDOGG. It was then in September of 2007, that he met DJ J-Beatz who gave him his own microphone and brought him on "The Gospel Xcursion." The Street Disciple, brought many conversations to life with his charismatic nature, and liveliness. In May of 2008, he left WWMC in faith, praying that God would lead his life, and allow him to be used in the way that God wanted. During the Summer of 2008, The Street Disciple met Radio-One's Bobby Burwell (Promotions Coordinator for Praise 104.1, Spirit 1340, WOL 1450.) Since that day, he has been doing Promotions for Radio One’s: Praise 104.1, WYCB 1340, WOL 1450, WKYS 93.9 and Majic 102.3, fulfilling a dream and a destiny for his life.The Street Disciple, has worked with some of the music industries best artists including: 112, Jasmine Sullivan, Raheem DeVaughn, Chuck Brown, Q-Tip, T.I., Hezekiah Walker, Jeff Majors, The 7 Sons of Soul, and Marvin Sapp, to name a few.Aside From Radio, The Street Disciple, is involved with many different things. He is a dedicated member of Bridging The Gap Urban Ministries, whose sole purpose is presenting the Gospel to those who need it most. He is a member of the Critical Revelation Band, a Gospel Go-Go group based in the DC Area where they play music that can effectively reach out to the Youth with a style of music that they can relate to. He also serves as Promotions and Sales Director for The Peculiar People. He dedicates himself to counsel local young men in the DC Metropolitan area, because he realizes that the youth need positive outlets to grow up as a generation of productive men, and he is also a DJ!!!Spiritually speaking he is saved by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ by the aid of the Holy Spirit and currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden under the leadership of John K. Jenkins.
