6'1" 200LBS, MMA (N.H.B) amateur fighter with a record of 10-2-0 & a boxing record of 1-0-0 by way of TKO. grew up in jay fl. and still call it home. on the weekends its back to the place I love be see friends, run around the woods, spend time on the creeks and rivers, and most important...to be around my family and friends. I also when i find time i love to bowhunt and spend hours shooting. I try to go on a few hunting trips every year somewhere mostly to "the lonestar state" TEXAS! my favorite spot is the small town of Sabinal and the surrounding area. if it so not for my family I would move out there to live. small towns without alot of change and good hunting, my kinda place.
As far as the fighting goes I decided to do that over a year ago after I broke my leg....it was always secret ambition of mine, so I told my self if I can get up and walk again I was gonna do it if i could find a way. almost 2 months after I started walking, I started learning Gracie Jiu-Jitsu for 2 hours 3 nights a week. as of dec. 05 I started training at Pensacola boxing academy with Larry downs jr. along will with still training Jiu-Jitsu and MMA fighting at the academy. I was the FIRST MMA fighter the academy produced, I also gave the gym their FIRST win in the new building, some people forget those things though.
I'm currently training @ Powerhouse gym on 9th in Pensacola lifting weight and doing cardio. I also train GRACIE JIU-JITSU under Pat Vito 6 days a week, 2 hours a day also @ Powerhouse. Our fighters train 2 days a week a hybrid style of striking (a western boxing, Thai & Dutch style kickboxing mix)@ small our private gym.
Because I go from training one thing to another and I'm always doing something all over the place (training, hunting, fishing, going somewhere etc). Basically being an adventurous person, loving road trips, knowing getting there is half the fun, and going on adventures as my fighting friends say. they gave the new nickname "The Road Dog"(def- A Road Dog is a loner. This does not necessarily mean that he is anti-social. It does mean that a Road Dog gets quite enough social interaction in the course of managing his life, and yearns for the quite, lonely places. Solitude is sought after and not avoided.
A Road Dog loves to drive - but not so much in the city.
He is happy in the angled light and long shadow of early morning and late afternoon. He is happiest in the fading light of twilight, when the mysteries of the land are reveal themselves, only to be swallowed up, too soon, in the darkness of oncoming night.
A Road Dog finds comfort in the desolate two-lane blacktop, with the rhythmic pulse of the broken white line slipping underneath his wheels.
A Road Dog prefers the open window to the air conditioned cabin.
