Profile GeneratorHey, my name is Nicola but most people call me Nikki or Dory these days. I live in Basingstoke. I was born in the UK and I’m half English and Filipino, which is great because I get to experience completely different cultures, and we get to help our family back in the Philippines.I’ve finally completed my college years in QMC (thank fuck!), but I might go back to do some re-sits so I have a better grade for when I go to university. I’m currently taking a gap year but I’m deciding whether to have 1 or 2 years out. I plan to do nursing or midwifery when I go to university, so I decided to quit my old job at Playdays (which has such shit management, but was fun while it lasted) and I now have a job at St. Thomas Nursing Home working with elderly people with dementia where I can get nursing experience. It’s tough being a carer, but I absolutely love my new job!
I’m a Scorpio. I try to be serious, but most of the time I just want to have a laugh. Life is so confusing! I love random people, because I’m a random kind of person. I am a shy person but don’t judge a book by its cover! There is a lot more to me than you think… I am a kind, friendly, mysterious person. I love to take long walks in the summer and reflect on my life (it sounds like spiritual crap but it really helps mentally and emotionally)! I love hanging out with my mates, going on nights out to the bars/clubs in my area, and just chilling at home.Since leaving college my life has been great. I have my very first boyfriend, I have a new job, I got good grades from college, and I have finally passed my driving test (and love the freedom of driving around everywhere). I am quite pessimistic (especially due to how depressing this year has been for me), but things have been so great lately that it’s making me have a new view of life, and I look forward to each day now.My favourite colour is yellow and I have always wanted to go to America. I don’t know why but I have just always wanted to go there. Hopefully someday I will be able to get the money to go over there… I might go there for a bit during my gap year (if I have a 2 year gap anyway), or I might be adventurous and travel the world but I don’t know anyone that would want to do that with me or are available to do that…Singing has always been important to me. Without the support from people from school, I would have never been able to come out of my shell. In school I sung 'I know him so well', 'You are not alone', 'My immortal' and 'Think twice' with some solo parts. And in year 11 I sung ‘Beautiful Disaster’. This song meant so much to me and I will never forget how I felt afterwards. I have never been so proud and confident in my life and it really helped in college. In college my confidence boosted around people. It was amazing how someone who hardly said anything to anyone would suddenly change, sing on stage and then talk confidently to people. Singing has helped me so much. I sung ‘Angel’ in college as well, and I loved my singing lessons with my teacher Ashley. It has been fun!
