So, I truly hate these "about me," things... it kind of feels like an interview. Well, here goes... I love being around my friends, my family and my boyfriend. Time without them in my life so often feels like time lost or wasted. Every one of these people have the most wonderful and different characteristics that completely enrich my life. Even if it has been ages since I have last seen them, when we do see each other, it's as though it was just yesterday we were hanging out. I enjoy painting and sketching but never have enough "me time" to sit back down and work on anything, so I guess I am kind of an artist on hiatus. I'm always running around from work to the gym, home to do laundry, getting up and starting all over again (to make sure I can get everything done to head out on the weekends and go have fun). Work makes the fun possible. Music is a must... I grew up with TWO channels on TV, so there was always music playing in the house. (You also used to be able to dial the last four digits of a phone number to call someone in my town... yes... I lived in the sticks... and still do) I love to be outside... summer, winter, spring or fall, it doesn't make a difference. I love to sing... you can catch me doing it all the time. I personally don't care for my voice, but folks always tell me that they love it. I even managed trying out for lead in a band several years back... and realized I have the most unbearable case of stage-fright. Get me in a car or hanging out with a couple folks (with many glasses of liquid courage in me) and I am good to go. :) I have a couple of siblings... an older sister and a younger brother. We are all so amazingly different (which has also lead to some crazy disputes between us). My sister is so brilliant, almost so much so that she can't figure out how to get out of her own way. (I'm not just saying that she's brilliant because she is my sister... this girl has a noggin' on her head like you wouldn't believe.. it's not just a lump three feet above her ass.) She is fun, opinionated (in ways that drive me nuts), beautiful and weird. It's what makes her perfect. My brother... I don't really know what I would do without him. The kid is just as brilliant as my sister, but on a completely different level. If you ever need a good laugh, just call the kid. He'll have you in stitches for hours. He has a great family with the two most beautiful daughters to walk the face of the planet. I live for the days that my nieces call and tell me their stories (although the younger is just starting to talk... so her stories are a bit hard to understand :)). My parents are the best. They are still married after 33 years, and head over heels in love with each other. They have put up with so much shit from their kids over the years, and, no matter what, they have always unconditionally loved us kids. I'm not quite sure how, but they do. My folks are 56 and 57 year old versions of me, so we get along incredibly well and I know I would be lost without them. I couldn't ever ask for more. Anyway, that's really kind of it. Nothing special maybe in some eyes, but perfect in mine.
