About Me

Born in Canada, moved to Queensland when I was six (still have accent). Grew up in Townsville and lived to tell the tale. Been in Perth for about four years now. Have been drawing, painting and obsesed with all things artistic for as long as I can remember. It's my passion and also gaurantees me a steady diet of instant noodles and tap water for the forseeable future! Soon to be Cafe owner.......... apparently. I consider myself to be a healthy mix of neurotic and lazy with a dash of Canadian catholic guilt thrown in the mix. You know that guy running to catch the train, and the door closes right in front of him and everyone's watching? He then pretends he didn't want that train anyway. That's me... My Interests

Art. Contemporary illustration especially. Post modern and photo portraits rate highly too. Gotta love the Pub, they have beer there now! Privacy, a misunderstood and underrated artform. I'm putting together an eco art exhibition, so I'm finding other peoples environmental art really interesting at the moment.

I'd like to meet:

John Stewart from the Daily Show, Traavis Millard, Ed Templeton and Jason Lee

Music:

Compared to my friends I'm a lightweight but I love good alternative music. Radiohead,The Shins, Bjork, Bloc Party, Von Bondies etc. I also enjoy Hip Hop that doesn't take itself seriously, I kinda hate this whole 80's revival thing, weren't we all just hating the 80's?!

Movies:

chasing Amy, Fight Club, Children of Men, Ghostbusters 1, Garden State, The Life Aquatic

Television:

Firefly, Scrubs, Six Feet Under, Arrested Development, Family Guy, LOST, The first three seasons of Malcom in the middle, The Daily Show and does anyone remember the cartoon 'Mission Hill'?

Books:

Y: The Last Man, Anything by Chuck Palahunik, All Families are Pyschotic by Douglas Coupland, High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, DMZ, where the wild things are

Heroes:

Brodie from Mallrats, anyone working with the underprivilleged, JD from Scrubs, Spiderman(thanks for the coffee), anyone who can juggle, nice people, oh and Berg from Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place.
