I was so pleased to finally meet him last night as he spoke truth to power in Phoenix.
On a personal note: Like me, he's a NYC native. I was able to thank him personally & mention that I graduated from his alma mater, Fordham University, NYC. A few times during his speech last evening, adorably, he referred to me as an "associate alumni"!! lol

Not according to the Department of Defense.
Not even close.
According to a disturbing new report, troops are still reluctant to seek counseling because of the stigma of mental health care, and the military's mental health professionals are often inaccessible to service members and their families. That means the troops who need help most aren't asking for it, and the military isn't reaching out to make sure they get treated.
