tennis, movies, poetry, video games, tea, travel, warm climates, beaches, good restaurants, red wine!*i have also just recently become a published poet...random i know.. i entered a poetry contest this summer and was named a semi-finalist and just recently recieved the "Editor's Choice Award" for outstanding achievement in poetry presented by the International Library Of Poetry, my poem will be published in a coffee table book and my poem was chosen as one of 33 to be a part of the "Sounds of Poetry " album, a spoken word album with baroque music in the background....here she is guys... written at 2am in an empty church yard on the first snowfall, my senior yr. in college in downtown Ithaca 11/28/00CAUCASIAN GROUND:delayed tears fall from heavenly eyes, blanketing warm visages it descends, sparkling purity journeys on, from glowing horizons calm winds come forth, nature's sleep arrives, final leaves cling to glistening branches, falling flickering join hands, let the show begin, the annual meeting is underway, memories are recalled, stunning beginnings bring feet to a standstill, paused minds are wrapped in white fleece, surrounded in traveling cotton, momentary peace is realized, soaring particles are reminders of serene innocence, suspended realities, folded hands, nothing reigns but the echoes of traveling tranquility, and the view of caucasian ground.(no stealing its copyrighted..lol)
