History

My name is Isaac Junkie , i..m a mexican producer. I live in Mexico City and I have my own small Independent Record Label (Isaac Junkie Records) being the first label in Mexico based on electropop music and similars. I have six albums on my career, the last one is "Talking about love" (2006) and it was my first one released in Spain by Universal Music.

In 2006 I was in Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona, and other places in Spain for making some promotion on IPOP tv show (TVE) and radio as well as some directs in Razzmatazz and 8 1/2 club. I like to have much interaction with other bands of Mexico and the world, that..s why i invited some artist to sing or remix some of my songs as well as i have participated in different projects, like vocalist or remixer.

I..m an electro fan of the music of artists such as OMD or The Human League. The sound of my music is techno pop inspired in the sound of the 80..s, loaded of twisted basses, analog drum machines and oscillating LFO..s. Pop music combined with beautiful melodies vocals. In my music i only use analog synths like: Korg Ms 10, Roland SH-9, Roland TR-808, Moog prodigy.

(2007)

In late 2007, Isaac Junkie written, produced and released the limited edition single of the international dance track “I’m Lost in You” which was sang by himself and Chris Anton of Information Society and was in second place in charts of Beat 100.9 fm. The single includes remixes of french and italian bands.

In October 2007 Anton joined Isaac Junkie in a sold out performance at the Club Ultravioleta in Mexico City.

In November of the same year, was the open band for Camouflage..s show in Mansion Club México.

(2008)

Isaac Junkie written, produced and released the "Open your eyes" album that includes collaborations of Chris Anton in some tracks like: "Open your eyes" , "Thousand ways"" and “I’m Lost in You” "", the album includes a bonus track, remix of "Don..t let me down" made by Paul Robb of Information Society (yeah!).

In February releases the limited edition single "A place" with vocal colaboration of Max Demian of Babylonia, actually is being played in Beat 100.9 fm.

Makes the rework of the track "La vida" with the voice of Frank, announcer of Beat 100.9 fm, the track is actually in second place in top ten of the radio station. beating up international dj..s like Tiesto and Paul van Dyk.
