Self-determined, self-reliant, self-actualized, multi-talented and entrepreneurial; those are just a few words to describe the multi-faceted Shaun B'Laurent. Born and raised in Bronx, New York, a graduate of Dwitt Clinton H.S, Shaun B'Laurent briefly branched off from the bright lights, sky-rise buildings, and consumed sidewalks, embarking on his college education in the equally, fast-paced Miami, Florida to attend college. His college education proved to be invaluable, as he took back to New York his developed mind frame on life. With goals to become not just rich, but excessively rich; and moreover to set a positive and evident example for the younger generation facing even more obstacles than he did coming up - to ease them out of their feeling of hopelessness and increase their eagerness to claim the cream of the crop, Shaun B'Laurent proves that he is an selfless, influential success.
Still young, yet eager to claim his ambitions, Shaun B'Laurent is a hard-working, creative young man willing and ready to take risks, fulfill his multitude of dreams, and of course have fun while doing so.
If you ask him, life is a never ending book of empty chapters that we are all given the task of writing, to determine our life story. We as authors of our lives must take complete control of it and not let outside influences, insecurities or the people around us take away the pen that writes our story. In doing so, we live our lives in vain; becoming somebody else’s vision and wasting our gifts. Already, Shaun B'Laurent has learned in life there is nothing more important than believing in yourself, following your gut instinct - doing what YOU believe is best, thinking BIG - always looking toward tomorrow, and always keeping an open mind. To be self-reliant, as Shaun B'Laurent is, you must understand that nothing is ever too big of a task, no idea is ridiculous, and no dream is exorbitant, regardless of what anyone may say. Considering the ones who have "made it" in life, Shaun B'Laurent insists that these people attribute their success to thinking outside of the box, taking risks without regret, following their gut without looking back, and believing their dreams are not imagined but attainable, and living everyday with a collection of goals and the belief they will "make it" even further in life. Shaun B'Laurent feels that anybody can do anything, large or small, with the correct mindset; after all he is living proof that something can come out of nothing.
Currently, Shaun B'Laurent is dabbling in the entertainment world. He has been widely received within the music industry and the actors world. As he pursues an extensive career in acting, he continues to work with seasoned acting coaches and hone his skills by taking acting classes. Acting comes naturally to Shaun B'Laurent, as he simply follows his lifetime goal of pursing a career as an actor. A slight feeling of discouragement was quickly overturned when he had a dream that he met some people in the acting industry that had been admiring his look for a period of time.
In addition to pursuing his dreams, Shaun B'Laurent still remains a full-time business man. Latching on to his share of Love and Loyalty Music Group with immense pride and gratitude,Shaun B'Laurent has used this experience to propel him, as he climbs the ladder in the entertainment industry.
Once posed the question: “Where is the richest place on Earth?†Shaun B'Laurent first answered the question himself, possibly, or maybe this or that. Later explained the richest place is your dream, your vision, your idea, and your purpose, Shaun B'Laurent then became a fan of potential. This epiphany led him to a point of fearlessness; he packed his bags in pursuit of his dream, hopped on a train to Los Angeles, and never looked back. An intelligent man once said a tree is safest in its best soil; well LA had his soil. In this place Shaun B'Laurent discovered his true self.
In closing, Shaun B'Laurent says never agree with being poor or broke, disadvantaged, or out on your luck. With encouragement and peace with oneself, one can break through anything.
