Les Cooper

Les Cooper is a producer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/arranger from Hamilton, Ontario who currently lives in Toronto. He has produced albums for Jill Barber www.myspace.com/jillbarbermusic, Meaghan Smith www.myspace.com/meaghansmithmusic, Craig Cardiff and songs for Ali Bartlett, Andy Stochansky, Mike Daley and a host of other Canadian artists. He was proud to share an East Coast Music award for his production of Best Album of the Year for Jill Barber's "For All Time" as well as solo Female recording of the year. His productions and songwriting talents have appeared on television, film and radio in Canada and abroad and Les continues to expand his talents. Les Cooper has been playing guitar for Canadian bands for several years. This has included, Andy Stochansky, Holly McNarland, Matthew Barber, Chantal Kreviaziuk, Craig Cardiff, Sara Craig and several others. He and co-writer Ali Bartlett are now working on their own project (ANASOPHIA) with a bunch of friends from the Toronto area.
