I moved to Los Angeles from Boston to do - what else? - act. I am surprised by how much I like it here. Like most east coasters, I considered Los Angeles to be a stinky cesspool that I would have to endure in order to pursue my career. As it turns out, most of the area is beautiful. I love being so close to the mountains, desert and ocean, and I love not spending six months of the year bracing against subzero temperatures while the wind threatens to rip the skin from my face. That's nice.
