Obedience is underrated.

About Me

All you need to know about me is that I am a Christian and Christ is the most important part of my life. I am trying to live my life to be used by Him in some way and to bring Him praise. If anything good every comes out of my life, I attribute it all to God. He has been so faithful to me, and I love Him more than words can begin to describe. That's it. If you want to know anything else about me, just ask.

Johnny Depp (I want to know what he's like in real life),
TJ Detwieler,
Leigh Nash (well I'd like to meet her once more),
Derek Webb like five years ago,
Mr. Knightly (he is perfect in every way - too bad he is not real),
and my great great grandchildren. .. ..

Music:

Caedmon's Call, Sixpence None the Richer, Switchfoot,
Nickel Creek,

Coldplay, Jason Mraz, Patty Griffin, Polarboy(whatever happened to them I have no idea), Derek Webb, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Shane & Shane, Jack Johnson and I love any old standards. OH YEAH, I can't forget about my favorite Starbux featured songs by Booker T and the MG'S and Zohar and of course Willie Bobo! I am his number one fan Eric. They rock! Oh, and I heard two great songs at Starbucks a while back. One I like to call Me and the Tree and there is one actually called ZUNGAZUNGAZUNGAZENG (gotta love reggae). I will sing it for you if you like.

Movies:

The Lord of the Rings is my favorite for sure. Some of my other favorites are The Sound of Music, Emma, The King and I, The Phantom of the Opera, You've Got Mail, Singing in the Rain, The Princess Bride, A Beautiful Mind, The Sixth Sense, The Village, Pirates of the Carribean,
A Series of Unfortunate Events,

Fiddler on the Roof, Pride and Prejudice, Shadowlands, Wallace and Grommit,
and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Television:

All I need to see is Lost! On the side I like to watch Survivor, and my new favorite, The Office. .. width="425" height="350" ..

Books:

I am sorry to say that I am not a great reader. I am self-diagnosed ADD. That is what I like to blame my lack of reading on. I once joined a book club recently. I read 7 chapters and quit. I really am a failure in this area of my life, but every once in awhile I feel a little motivated. Now here are some books I have enjoyed recently(and recently in my reading life means past few years): THE LORD OF THE RINGS,
THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA, THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE, THE CASE FOR CHRIST, MERE CHRISTIANITY, THE HOBBIT, BLACK AND WHITE, THE LITTLE PRINCE, THE WESTING GAME, A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, A BOY CALLED IT, MORE THAN A CARPENTER, The BIBLE (espcially Genesis and Revelations) Here is an update on my reading lately. I am trying to be disciplined in this area of my life because I want to develop some leadership abilities. So, I have recently read Launching a Leadership Revolution, Personality Plus (great book for anyone who claims to be a person!) and Positive Words - Powerful Results.

Heroes:

Jesus is really the only hero that need to mention, but He has put some people in my life that I credit anything good that comes out of my life to: my sister because she keeps me in check, my mom cause I love her to death and she loves God so much, my dad because he taught me wisdom and generosity, my neices because they motivate me to become better than I am now, John because he is a man of God and I value his counsel, and Laura because she has shown more loyalty than I deserve (just like Sam Wise).
