About Me

Kevin is the guitarist and singer for the Memphis-area band Sugar Ditch . If you haven't seen Sugar Ditch live, you really need to check them out. Kevin has been playing guitar for over 25 years and is only 35, so you do the math. Born and bred in Tupelo, MS, and currently residing in the Memphis, TN area, he definitely knows music and has grown to appreciate many different genrés. From the Mississippi Delta Blues to Motown to Southern Gospel, Kevin has played it all, and played with some of the best unknown musicians in the area. His original band, Little Dreamer, still makes the occasional appearance and is currently working on a new CD of original music. Kevin moved to Memphis, TN in July, 2003, where he resides today. He is currently a member of the Memphis band Sugar Ditch . Keep your eyes and ears open for Kevin Waide and Sugar Ditch. You've never seen anything like this before, and you'll never see it again from someone else. Don't miss the Kevin Waide Project, an all star line up featuring as many of the local music celebrities as we can round up. The debut show March 19 at 363 Blues Club in Saltillo was a smashing success, with special guests Mark Coward, Chris Fooshee, Jimmy Karow, and Skip Oliver in for the night, and you will not want to miss any of the shows. Come on out for a night of drinks, dancing, and good, old fashioned Tupelo fun!!! And if you're interested in participating in one of the jam sessions, contact Kevin. Contact Info is on the left.
