..An international Cinematographer, DVD photographed over three hundred music videos for artists as diverse as Mariah Carey, Nine Inch Nails and The Wu-Tang Clan. See any hip hop videos during the nineties? DVD shot those, developing the popular music video form with innovative directors Kevin Bray, Mark Klasfield, Diane Martel, Chris Robinson, and many others. DVD worked on Lions Gate Films 'American Psycho', 'Wonderland', 'Shattered Glass', 'The Cookout' and 'The Devils Rejects' as camera operator. DVD was Director of Photography on the action film 'State Property', the horror film 'Leprechaun Back to Da Hood' and the independents, 'Not A Day Goes By' , 'The Undeserved' and 'A Talent For Trouble'. His directing credits include Universal Pictures 'Paper Soldiers', starring Micheal Rappaport and Jay-Z and 'Hittin' It!' for LGF. Since 1998 DVD has collaborated with British artist Sarah Morris on a series of films exploring contemporary American cities. They most recently completed 'Los Angeles' with a cast that included Brad Pitt and Scarlet Johansson. DVD recently DP'ed special projects for ESPN and NFL Films and a new series with renowned chef Tommy Tang.Born in Beaumont, Mississippi, DVD studied at Bard College and finished at NYU.
