About Me

An Art Director, Image maker and Stylist: to PR, Marketing and Event Organising.I know just what i (do) want so please...A long standing advocate of quirk. I wear it at a jaunty angle, thrown on with absolute irreverence, thats the way it should be for me. I'm natural curious.

My Interests

self-made, alternative reality - to create our own, personalized environment, Sounds... tastes... cherries, roxie glam. tulip shapes, things... 1940's accessories, nuts and seeds, the adrenaline from coffee, the purity of fruit, red wine, big bows of bright colours and patterns, postcards, typography, new places...words of wisdom from wise friends, inspiring others, continual influences and aspiration, dreaming of being in the perfect place, dancing when the floor becomes your world, sound takes your breath away and your body takes control...lots of references to colours, competitiveness and possessiveness. The irresistible.'JunkyShowOff' film to support Junky Styling's London Fashion Week A/W 08/09 Showcase at the Brickhouse, Bricklane. This film was filmed, produced and directed by the UK's newest talent duo IO&LUCY."A femme fatale (plural: femmes fatales) is an alluring and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers in bonds of irresistible desire, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations. She is an archetypal character of literature and art."IO&LUCY collaborate as freelance image makers, innovating ideas and art directing projects from stills in editorial to live shows and film. This latest piece was projected behind the catwalk show of Junky Styling's latest collection of garments modelled by Britain's Next Top Models and live music performed by My Toys Like Me. The Film took its inspiration from Junky's collection concept of The Femme Fatale. Using symbolism whilst also considering the brand ethics, IO&LUCY represented the sexiness, strength and power of the Femme Fatale through a flower. A flower maintains its beauty and stays rooted through all natures powerful elements. In a contemporary fashion, IO&LUCY chose to customize a wind spinning object to act as the flower and, in their iconic spontaneous style, stood this within the outdoors and let nature control the outcome of the footage. What you see is the beauty of still image, alluring and seductively moving into compromising, dramatic spinning to entrance and hypnotise the viewer.Film Edited by: Pete Baxter

Another weekend...

We're thinking in old fashioned terms...two people list eachothers faults before confessing their unconditional, eternal and involuntary devotion to each other. Did you ever sing in front of your love...

Next Journal post...

"I've always tried to stretch myself. There's an innate boredom within me, a consequence of that boredom is experimentalism. I'm bored most of the time, so I find challenges. I'm natural curious."
