About Me

I am a petite Asian-American dancer/choreographer, from Virginia Beach, VA. I relocated to L.A. almost 3 years ago to pursue dance/choreography, which is my passion. Between jobs, gigs, auditions, etc, I stay pretty busy. (Hey, it's expensive to live in L.A.!) I like making a positive difference in people's lives. I love dancing and listening to music (mainly R&B and hip-hop, but some other songs as well). I work hard, so I really value the time that I do have to spend with the ones I care about, and those that care about me.

Thought of the week: Love can bring a joy like no other... on the flipside, it can also bring a pain like no other...
*NEW* THOUGHT OF THE WEEK: The people that make you the happiest are also the ones that have the abilty to hurt you the most.
ANOTHER THOUGHT OF THE WEEK: In any relationship, whether it's personal, romantic, a friendship, a work relationship, a job, whatever... the more they give you, the more they can take away from you.
ANOTHER THOUGHT: You can't appreciate the sunshine, until you've felt the rain.
2/24/07: MORE THOUGHTS! (Well, more like observations this time. I've been doing a lot of deep, analytical thinking lately, unfortunately.) ... and both of these thoughts are unfortunate... : 1. For the most part, ignorance IS bliss. 2. Timing is everything.
7/27/07: ANOTHER THOUGHT/OBSERVATION: With most things, once it's broken, you can never get it back quite the same way... not like it used to be.
12/2/07: (BORROWED) THOUGHT/OBSERVATION (AND HOPEFULLY, MOTIVATION): The Irony of Love "The greatest irony of love: Loving the right person at the wrong time, Having the wrong person when the time is right, And finding out you love someone right after that person walks out of your life... And sometimes, you think you're already over a person, but when you see them smile at you, you'll suddenly realize that you're just pretending to be over them just to ease the pain of knowing that they will never be yours again... For some, they think that letting go is one way Of expressing how much you love the person... In my opinion, some are afraid to see the one they love being held by someone else... Most relationships tend to fail not because of the absence of love. Love is always present. It's just that one was being loved too much and the other was being loved too little... As we all know that the heart is the center of the body but it beats on the left. Maybe that's the reason why the heart is not always right... Most often, we fall in love with the person we think we love but to only discover that for them, we are just for past times, while the one who truly loves us remains either a friend or a stranger... So here's a piece of advice: Let go when you're hurting too much. Give up when love isn't enough, and move on when things are not like before... For sure, there is someone out there who will love you even more... "
1/3/08: ANOTHER BORROWED THOUGHT TO PONDER: "What do you do when the only one that can make you stop crying, is the person who made you cry?"
MySpaceTV Videos: Music Video by Shanavian Productions

10/5/08 - This video is finally out over a year after shooting it! There were 2 different parts that I choreographed in this video, but they're chopped up pretty bad. Most of the hip-hop part I choreographed is towards the end (last 30 seconds). I'm also in a few of the freestyle dance scenes (I think they like the hair thing that I do... lol).

Music Video
6/1/09: This video was done a while back; just now thought to add it to my profile. I'm the main chick in the goth makeup doing the voodoo and sitting/crawling all on the table, and also I'm dancing in the turquoise outfit.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

"I'm a movement by myself", but are we a "force when we're together"? "I'm good all by myself", but can you "make me better"?... =)
