My interests are working out, reading, dancing, and people watching. I love a good book and will indulge myself all day with the right one. Excersise is very important to me as well. I'm not much for hiking, but will trade that for a great workout in the gym anyday. I LOVE to dance and have been told I'm a very good dancer. All music is good to me, after all, it's all art!
I like to meet all kinds of people. I find I get along with almost every type of person, and we can all learn something from everyone we meet. My life is considered somewhat quiet and serene, but that only came through lots of trial and error. I feel we can never have enough friends so therefore am on the search of making as many as I can in the short time we have on this earth. "I had closed the door upon my heart, and wouldn't let anyone in, I had trusted and loved only to be hurt, but that would never happen again, I had locked the door and tossed the key as hard and as far as I could, love would never enter there again, my heart was closed for good..........Then you came into my life, and made me change my mind, just when I thought that tiny key was impossible to find, that's when you held out your hand, and proved to me I was wrong, inside your palm was the key to my heart, you had it all along" COULD THIS BE YOU?
I REALLY do like all music. I think my favorite is new country, but love old rock as well. I even enjoy some rap, as some of the songs really do have something to say. Jazz, a bottle of wine, and good company................what better way to spend an evening
Movies, hummmmmm, I hate Sci-fi......fantasy......but love a good thriller. Of course the romantic in me always falls back on my favorite, Gone with the Wind. The last really good movie I watched was "Out of Time" with Denzel. Great movie.
Discovery and national geographic are always being recorded on my dvr. I absolutly hate soap operas, reality tv, and many sitcoms. They just seem like a waste of time. If Im going to sit in front of a machine, I would like to be learning something or watching a comedy.
As I said I love to read. I hate romance novels, although I am an uncurable romantic. They just dont seem real to me. I guess I would rather create my own romance......The last book I read was "The Dark Side of Camelot" Very good book about the Kennedy years. I dont read Sci-Fi. James Patterson and John Grisham are some of my favorite authors
My all time hero is my mother.......of course.......without her input, I would never have become who I am. Famous hero would be Maya Angelou. She has been through so much and is a great woman
