Recording studio and label formerly based in a living-room without windows, in Oslo, Norway, now mostly at Rodeløkka, Sjokoladefabrikken. Established in august 2005 to promote and release the first Evergary Ep in decemeber the same year, now mostly a studio run by Unge Røsrud and Gamle Berg
The Smokin' Frog Studio has plenty of mics, a 16 track reel-to-reel recorder, a ok console and som nice preamps and effects. Our latest recording, the second album of Jens Carelius "The Beat of the Travel" was recorded and mixed here, and Dagbladet wrote that we had made a "sound you probably haven't heard from a norwegian band before". The Evergary 7" containing "Clip-on" and "Tornado Hearts" was recorded and mixed here, and of course the sophisticated hardcore sounds of Do You Love Melena?.If you need an affordable recording, album, ep, music for movies ! etc, our help with anything in the process of making an Ep og 7", don't hesitate to contact us at vind-gun(att)online.no, cause the frog stays up all night!
