my name's matt. i'm 23. i love roots music (the first generation of most any genre...not yet capitalized upon) including early bluegrass, early reggae, early blues, early folk, steel drum, african, meringue, some hip hop (mostly old school), black gospel (as opposed to southern (white) gospel), etc, etc. my life is mostly dedicated to music although i love running, jogging, biking, hiking, climbing, and anything else i can do to sweat and breathe fresh oxygen (fresher than indoors anyway). it's a nice feeling, exhaustion. other things i love to do include watch the sky at any time of day or night, go for drives in the country on sunny days, walking through the woods, skip stones, chop wood, walk long distances, and smoke pot. those are ways i keep in touch with the universe and myself. i've got barely a single tiny strand of respect (or patience) for television left. hardly anything but south park and i gotta give some credit to certain movies. i believe in love. i also believe in compassion.
