I've been playing the guitar and writing songs since I was a teenager back in the early and mid 1970s, I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and watched many rock bands in Las Vegas at prices that were affordable, no more then $10 bucks per ticket to see most any major band. Smoking was allowed, we all smoked grass and pasted it around...I knew I wanted to be a professional touring musician by time I went into the US Army Airborne Rangers in 1975. The reason I went into the military was due to my Father signed me up which ruined my Disney Art School Training. I was being hired by Disney to be an animation artist, and I would have been paid $2000 a month for the classes I would have been taking. But my Father "a 100 percent military man" said "NO SON OF MINE IS GOING TO HAVE A FAG JOB LIKE BEING AN ARTIST, MILITARY IS IN OUR FAMILY BLOOD AND BY GOD, YOU ARE GOING TO LEARN TO BE A MAN INSTEAD OF HAVING A FAGGOT JOB LIKE BEING AN ARTIST"
Here I am now living in Las Vegas, Nevada again while managing my fiance' Victoria Winters, But unfortunately due to health issues, we must move back to the East Coast to get the medical assistance needed. I had everything lined up, a music producer to record a new demo cd for Victoria and myself, a professional EMI records producer willing to listen to our new demo once it is completed, plus I became friends with a man who turns out being a entertainment promoter for The Mirage Hotel here in Las Vegas, Nevada. He told me he can get us working here in Las Vegas.
I've been on the verge of making it big in the music industry several times within the past 30 years, and each time something pops up that keeps that from happening. Obviously I'm not to be a professional musician - singer - songwriter - Manager.
Anyway, I'm not going to whine about my health issues, instead I am going to continue making music until the party is over.

2009: Mark Johnson and Victoria Winters moved to las Vegas, Nevada to record a demo for EMI records, Mark has had a set back due to severe headaches, Doctor thinks it could be a slow bleeding brain aneurysm, Had a MRI with radiation contrast and the results showed the bleeding brain aneurysm is inoperable. How many of you on MySpace can get pictures to load in the area below? I use to have pictures in there but they have vanished and I've re-loaded them plus more pictures over and over and still they don't show in the area below. I'm doing everything it says to do, still nothing shows up.
After I wrote about my slide picture player not working, suddenly it began working, now it works fine one day and then it's blank the next. This is weird, Obviously there is a problem with MySpace. I'm sure there are more members having the same problem.
