Cliffhanger was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Influenced by his mother and father’s love for music, Cliffhanger’s parents begin to recognize his interest in music at a young age. While most kids were sitting in front of the television watching cartoons like Voltron, He-Man, G.I. Joe and The Smurfs, he sat in front of the television for numerous hours growing fond of the unorthodox sounds and originality of popular 1980’s music artist such as Tear for Fears, Duran Duran, Hall and Oates, George Micheal and Micheal Jackson on Music Television (MTV).
Cliffhanger was also intrigued by movie scores and the drama and depth instruments such as the horns, violins, strings and bells added to movie scenes, giving them an edge-of your-seat unpredictability that kept audiences on their toes.
Throughout the 1980’s and 90’s Cliffhanger acquired a love for music unlike anyone his age, listening to music with sensitive ears, hearing sounds and patterns in songs that most never noticed. He studied the craft of music, observing the similarities, differences and what made original artist stand out from the rest.
In 2005, Cliffhanger Productions was created. Cliffhanger’s vision for his new company is to create “entertainment on the edge†through music production and graphic design. Cliffhanger Productions goal is to produce the next level of entertainment that the world has never experienced. Currently Cliffhanger works with numerous up and coming artist ready to elevate their music by creating industry changing Platinum hits, from rap to rock and everything in between. He describes his sound as being original, unorthodox but entertaining, dramatic, raw, edgy and unpredictable, always keeping the audience on their toes, but fitting each musical concept like a glove. He views himself not as music producer, but more like a composer of a digital symphony.
Cliffhanger continues to perfect his style of music, never becoming complacent and always trying to stay a step ahead of the music industry. He continues to find different influences in music and vows to always produce music “on the edge†of the music industry.
