Alphred Mireles professionally known as DEMENTE was born in November of 1986 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. As a multi talented solo artist you can find him producing, writing, singing, rapping or making beats. Demente’s musical influences range from Aventura and Don Omar to Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guerra, and Negros, but he really started taking a listen to Reggaeton and Latin Rap when he was 11 years old. Every time Demente turned on the radio he would hear “Playero†and “The Noise†who were one of the pioneers of what we call Reggaeton today. Demente’s love for music kept growing but he didn’t realize the talent within him until at the age of 16. It was then that he started writing poems for a girl that eventually became songs. He recorded his first song “Te Deseo†by himself and it was the start of a whole new chapter of Demente’s life. He now dedicates most of his time to music and has already written over 500 songs, which include future hits for the genres of: Reggaeton, Latin Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Rap, Merengue, Bachata, Balada, and Salsa. In less than a year, he learned how to record professionally, make beats, write, rap, and sing. Letting people know that “Everything is Possible†in this life if you try your best, and believe in yourself. At the age of 19 after a year of being in the industry, in 2004 he decided to open his own record label, which is named “Deep Flow Music Incâ€. Demente has performed in many Clubs, Festivals across the globe and has opened shows for artists like: Mas Flow Family, Ivy Queen, Khriz & Angel, Pitbull, Cheka, Guanabanas, Mafu Crew, Fuego, Wibal y Alex, Andy Andy, Toby Love, Dominic Marte, Xtreme, Chosen Few, and many others. He’s been on TV like “Univision’s†Objetivo Fama. “Telemundo†when he was performing talking about the hurricane “Katrina†that destroyed many places in “El Salvadorâ€. Demente’s been in the newspaper “El Tiempo Latinoâ€. Today Demente’s new goal is his first solo album named “Con Un Flow Profundo†which he is going to release it in the beginning of 2008, which is going to be distributed by his own company.
