Hi. I'm Kari.
I'm a stylist at the Salon Professional Academy in Kokomo. Someday I will be a Salon Professional. I've had a lot of college classes in my day, and I was ready for a change. I was prepared to be an English teacher, but no one ever prepares you how burnt out you get on school, and my life has taken a totally different turn. I like what I do, and I love how creative it lets me be. I'm a completely random person, and I love the path I'm on. Maybe someday my ADD will kick in and I will finish my path to college....... but I won't know until that day comes.
I'm very compassionate about animals. They're my thing. I try my best to be a cruelty-free consumer, speak out against abuse, and try to be the voice for those who don't have one. I hate people who chain their dogs. I hate people who hit their pets. I hate people who think animals don't have feelings. I hate people who test on animals. My list of hates goes on and on. I have never dissected EVER. There are other alternatives to dissection. I am guilty of trying to rescue every animal I see. I have an adorable little terrier mix baby, Lola. She's my happy place. My family also has 2 dogs; our Bailey and Quinn. We have a rescue kitty, Diddy Kong, 2 guinea pigs and ducks. It would be a zoo if I had my way.
I have a lot of really great friends. I owe them my life. I can't believe how much they've gotten me through and I wouldn't be anything without them. They will always be my family.
I love Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews. I'm a generally super-happy person. I love music. I've seen the play "Rent" 4 times. I love it and can sing every line. My favorite animal is the giant panda. I have collected Hello Kitty memoribila since I was 3. I love clothes, shoes, makeup, styling products and accessories. I drive a Volkswagen Beetle. I don't understand the Family Guy hype (?). And I love to go to concerts.
I have a boyfriend who is the love of my life. We have been together for almost 5 years and he was one of my best friends before that. I have never met anyone that can make everyone laugh like he does, and that is the most important thing about us. We laugh all the time. Anybody who hasn't had the pleasure of meeting Corey, should make time to do so. He makes every day worthwile, and I love him very much.
