LISA CEE & BEAST OF HONEYLisa Cee - (lead vocals, band leader) she started singing at the age of 4, born into a very musically influential family, Lisa learned young. Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Musical Theatre with the major emphasis in Voice prepared her for fronting her own band. Lisa Cee's Love of Music keeps her singing with pure passion and soul, she sends her auidence soaring with her until the last note is played. She believes that soul is the core of music. "Many people can "sing",but to feel the music and the words and convey that to people is all SOUL". Being a Singer/Songwriter has allowed her to write lyrics that she feels people can relate to, and have fun with. She has been Compared to the Great Janis Joplin, and the sultry Lydia Pense, Lisa relishes the compliment, and continues to get her style and sound out to others. Her LIVE show is not to be missed, energy, passion, soul, a true entertainer in every sense of the word.Lisa Cee has played with some of the greats... the likes of The Mamaâ??s Boys, JJ Bad Boy Jones, Miss Mickey Champion, Kirk â??Eliâ?? Fletcher, Max Bangwell, Paul Oscher, RJ Misho, Karen Lawrence, Peter Malick, Jeff Turmes, Jeff Ross, Robert Lucas, and many others.She has also opened for some of the greats John Lee Hooker Jr. Rod Piazza Tinsley Ellis Mamaâ??s Boys Miss Mickey Champion and others....Anchoring the band is Mike Hightower on Bass. Mikeâ??s career has spanned over 2 Â? decades. Playing with some of the most influential and great artists, along with fronting his own band he has been the Bassman for some of the greats... Lester Butler â??13", King Earnest, Finis Tasby, Allie Toliver, James Norton, and many many others.
