Sadat Valentine, Who am I?

WOW what a loaded question and no shortage of answers. Martial Arts Teacher, Musician, Producer, Composer, DJ, Buddhist, Husband, and Human Being. Came to LA and life has been a constant journey every since. Family told me not to come and I am glad I did not listen to them. I started as a DJ 20 years ago WOW has it really been that long. Went to college and then moved to LA LA land. I have been a part of the Los Angeles Underground Music Movement since 1990 and I have seen a lot of changes over the years. The one thing that sets LA apart is the constant changing and creation of new styles

As a DJ, producer and performer I have shared the stage and worked with the likes of E-Ssasin, Carl Cox, Richard Vission, Raymond Roker and Jason Bentley to name a few. I started Urban Mafia Entertainment in 1995 and over the years we have produced, remixed and released over 50 full length CDs, singles and mixed tapes. Last year we moved into our next phase representing other DJs and Producers online and offline getting their music heard all over the world.

The biggest thing that has created the man I am today is Buddha with his teachings I have changed every aspect of my life and happiness is something I touch everyday. I have DJ at some of the biggest clubs and events around the world. I now compose music scores for films,commercials and Online B2B. I also work as a producer for Time Warner/AOL. When not recording I am Sempi at Genbukan Zensho Dojo (Sensei Shoto Tanemura and Sensei Villanueva). These are just a few things that make up Sadat Valentine.
