I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Military Brat background, mostly raised in Philly. I have a passion for art (painting, sketching, sculpture, ceramics ect...) science & cooking, gardening, camping and a serious love of music. I'm also fascinated by history, politics, religion and how they impact each other. Guess that makes me a Geek. I grew up with musicians and ended up marrying one. I work with engineers & architects to make the bills. I have a daughter and a son (my contribution to the gene pool) who drive me crazy and keep me laughing, a bedroom full of plants and 2 or more cats (depending on which strays stay for a while). My friends are wonderful and I'm blessed because of their encouragement & moral support.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

no one said they had to be alive. Georgina Okeefe, Frida Kahlo, Norman Linsey, Renoir, Cezanne, Corbet, Van Gogh, Matisse, Gauguin, Monet, Manet, Degas, Rodin (this crew I'd like to go out drinking with), Harry Truman, George Patton, Golda Meir and Margeret Mead for starters. I was lucky, I got to meet Buckminster Fuller before he died, very sweet & quite a character. other than that, intellegent people who are real, and comfortable with themselves. oh yeah, John Cleese and Terry Gillian

My Blog

Ode to Buttercake

it's calling my name. it's worse than cocaine. it's burning a hole in the back of my brain. EAT ME!

why are we here anyhow?

I thought there was a "meat market" mentality about this when I joined.  The friend who invited me in the first place has mostly members of the opposite sex on the friend list. &nb...
