Add to My Profile | More VideosThere was an old piano in my aunts apartment downstairs in the house where I use to live. I use to go down and play the theme songs to all the cartoons I use to watch. When I was in 7th grade I put together a music group (me and two classmates). But it wasnt until I was in my young teens how much i realized I loved music. I felt like I understood everything about it. I didnt have a good relationship with my parents. So "music raised me up giving a fuck, i thought the gold chains and the dealers was living it up". I never had the 100$ sneakers growing up, or Cross colors, Hilfiger, or Karl Kani. At 16 in the Bronx I started hustlin weed. I wasnt a big timer I was 16, but I was making enough money to buy all the latest clothes and sneakers. My place at the time where i was living had got the electricity turned off and was off for a few months. In that time my older brother had gotten his IRS check and offered me 300$ to buy some clothes. It was at that time and point I truly became an artist. "I dont want gear, get me this keyboard from RadioShack, It can record and I could make beats with it". "You would rather have a keyboard over some gear"? I actually thought about it for 2 seconds before I answered him."With this keyboard Ill be able to show people what I can do even if the sound quality is not all that, and takes batteries so I can play in the apartment and only focus on music, people will see what I can do and one day I'll have a studio and wont have to go to nobody for anyhing". He looked and said it was gonna work. I didnt make it past the 10th grade in school I got kicked out on some dumb shit so I went to college at 17. I was rapping for 2 years now and in college until i dropped out the age of 18 when I got my first piece of professional equipment, (MPC 2000). Now I noticed I started to get more people around me who was making music. I started to get a different type of respect that I had never got before. People were looking at me and seeing money, whether it was for their personal musical gain or mine. MY music always had a movie'ish feeling to them, and I always knew I wanted to have something to do in movies. So in 2008 after graduating from a film school and years of experience and dedication I bring you Life Entertainment. Life Entertainment is no longer a company, but who I am. Why?
