I'm a 26 year old female who is dedicated to school right now. I was in the Army for a while & now that I'm civilian again, I gotta do me. Once I graduate from nursing school in August I'll be able to focus more on my family and the relationship I'm in. As of this moment, school & God are my top priorities. I appreciate everyone understanding I have a goal and I am determined to accomplish that goal so I may not have the time to spend with them or call them. It's nothing personal at all. I'm just tryin' 2 finish school and then I'll have all of the free time 2 do whatever I please.I attend nursing school @ Grand Canyon University. My dream is be an RN in a children's hospital & to also go to Africa and administer AIDS vaccinations.If u choose to get to know me, you'll find that I'm an ambitious, caring, exciting, & funny person to be around. I have my bad days, as do we all, but my good days outweigh the bad ones. I admit that I have an attitude problem, so if u test me it will come to the light. It's not nearly as bad as it used to be but I still have some calming down to do. With God's help, I'll learn to control my attitude & anger.

I don't do the clubbin scene so I mostly just go to the movies and hang out with friends. Nursing school is crazy busy for me so I don't have time to do much. Ask anyone & they'll tell u that all I do is study & do homework! I'm tryin' to stay on that President's Honor List!! I still get to travel because I just can't give that up! I have to do all of the traveling now because when I get married all of that will be out of the window!

There are a lot of people who inspire me & who I'd like to meet one day. The #1 person is my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. The people on this earth include Carl Thomas, Joe, Musiq Soulchild, & Oprah.

Music:

I'm not really into the new so called "hip hop" music. I like the old music when the artists actually talked about somethin'. Most of the stuff they're putting out is nothin but non-sense. The songs are about are two things: money and "hoes". Plus I don't want to hear a cuss word every two seconds! So, I mostly listen to Neo-Soul, R&B, and Gospel. I love Musiq Soulchild, Jagged Edge, Carl Thomas, Avant, Jill Scott, Mary J. Blige, etc.

Heroes:

My Grandmother is my real hero. She helped raise me & never looked down on me no matter what I did. Unfortunately she is no longer with me. She passed away in 2001 from complications of Alzheimer's disease. Because of her, I m determined to become a nurse!! The picture below is of me & some of my family members @ the Alzheimer's Walk in memory of my grandmother. She (my grandmother) is pictured on my shirt (if you can see it).
